We did not expect a lot of frills for the money. The room fulfilled our needs adequately. Two items that were bothersome: 1. Our room on the first floor faced the inside courtyard of cement, half-light and workers carrying things (not fun), 2. It would have helped if there were at least two channels that showed news in English. Hungarian is a language that does not connect with anything familiar. It is like listening to Japanese. But the location to center city was wonderful, as was the city.

Myself and my party very much enjoyed our stay in the Fortuna Boat Hotel in Budapest We found it very good value with good rooms and very good breakfast selection. The food in the hotel restaurant was amazingly good quality, in fact it was so good that we ate there both nights. We would have no hesitation in staying there again and would highly reccomend it.
