Balatonfüred is a little town on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, surrounded by the southern slopes of Tamás Hill and by the Tihany peninsula. The number of its population is 13.500. Since 1971 Balatonfüred is the first spa in Hungary. It has also gained the title of International Town of Grapes and Wine.
The town became famous mostly because of the curative springs and its mediterranean – like climate. Balatonfüred was already inhabited in the Roman Ages. Its name was first mentioned in the estate registration of the Tihany Abbey in 1211.
The effervescent springs near Lake Balaton were already known in the 17th century. They came into the limelight when boiled spring-water was used for bathing and the settlement was officially declared a spa in the 1700s.
Alba Villa Hotel offers 16 apartments between the size of 60-80m2. All equipped with air-conditioner, central heating, TV with international channels, hairdryer, safe. The aparments have two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), living room, kitchenette, 1 or 2 bathrooms, toilette, balcony or direct garden access. There is possibility to add 2 extra beds to living room.
The well-equipped kitchenette contains a microwawe, fridge, hotplate, cutlery and tableware up to 6 people.
The reception and the Restaurant is in the nicely renewed old cottage building.
Families with babies enjoy our free services as babycot, highchair, baby bath, playground, baby-pool, kids’ menues in our restaurant.
On request we can organise babysitting, too.
Our restaurant called Deák Pince, is available for max. 80 persons at once. Our dishes are extraordinary delicious, and attractive in prices. We prepare them for you in our sight-kitchen.
In a seperate room there is also a possibility of playing billiard or darts.
